DMK brand Oldenburger at Expo ANTAD & Alimentaria in Mexico for the very first time

Export brand to showcase high-quality dairy products “Made in Germany”

Bremen, February 2018. The DMK Group, Germany’s largest dairy co-operative, will have a stand at this year’s ANTAD & Alimentaria in Guadalajara for the very first time. Taking centre stage will be DMK’s export brand Oldenburger, renowned on the international market for its high-quality dairy products, made and packaged in Germany. The broad Oldenburger range caters to the needs of both food retail and food service customers. At the show in Mexico, the focus will be predominately on the brand’s various cheeses. The brand will also be exhibiting its trendy milk drinks and premium-quality cream products at Stand 0230/0329, from 06 to 08 March.
With sales of €5.1 billion, the DMK GROUP is the largest dairy co-operative in Germany. Some 7,000 employees process over seven billion kilograms of fresh cow’s milk into top-selling cheese and milk products every year. The high quality of its dairy products is down to the DMK Group’s decades of experience and extremely stringent milk production and processing quality controls. The successful development of Oldenburger products on the international market is the best possible testimony for the brand, which has stood for first-rate dairy products “Made in Germany” since 1964. The diverse range offers both basic products, such as semi-hard cheese, UHT milk and butter, and lucrative added-value concepts, such as a user-friendly cooking cream and lactose-free cheese.

Highlights from the Oldenburger range
The brand’s extensive cheese range will also be in the spotlight at Expo ANTAD & Alimentaria, with Oldenburger presenting its innovative retail and food service solutions, including worldwide-popular mozzarella and other semi-hard cheeses, such as Gouda, Edam and Emmental, packaged in units tailored to the specific needs of the brand’s different target groups. For the catering and food service industry, various bulk packs are available, while for retailers, Oldenburger cheese is appetisingly packed in pre-cut slices à 150 g per pack.

The brand also offers retailers and the food service industry a wide range of baking and cooking solutions in its cream segment – from classic UHT cream and lactose-free cream to functional convenience products for professional kitchens. One example is Oldenburger’s reduced fat (20%) cooking cream, which is perfect for refining and binding sauces, soups and casseroles.

A further focus will be on “convenience”: As a major producer of milk drinks, the brand will be presenting its flavoured milkshakes at the show in Mexico. Available in the flavours strawberry, banana and chocolate, these milk drinks score highly on taste and nutritional value. In a practical 200 ml pack with straw, they are perfect for on the go, and thereby satisfy the continuing to-go trend. Oldenburger’s milk drinks have already become very well established on other markets, as they appeal to both children and adults alike.
